Council having to defend their property purchases outside Bury

Written by Estate Agent Networking UK on - Breaking News -

A recent news story on the Bury Times websites goes in to the currently lively topic of property and land purchases by local councils across the country following reduced funds from the government.

Bury Council is the latest to be highlighted with supposed purchases outside its community to include a restaurant up on Fylde coast and offices in Huddersfield totalling over £3.3 million.

Councils across the country are seeking ways in which to secure mid to long term finances and income with both property and land high up on their list of investments for safe guarding their futures.
