18% Increase in unsold Housing Associations Homes

Crazy headline eh? We need more housing in the UK, affordable most certainly, and here we sit with what is reported as 7,193 homes on the market – London housing association Notting Hill Genesis has 400 unsold homes sitting empty alone!
The market has for sure slowed down, more stock is hitting the portfolios of estate agents (mostly grossly overpriced landlord excess stock) and English housing associations have seen an increase of 18% more unsold property.
“Unsold shared ownership homes rose to 5,438, while unsold homes for outright market sale rose to 1,755.” Inside Housing.
