Over 87,600 land and property sales lodged for registration in December 2016

Press release yesterday 30th January on Gov.uk website from Land Registry ‘December 2016 Price Paid Data’.
Land Registry Price Paid Data tracks land and property sales in England and Wales submitted to them for registration.
The December Price Paid Data includes details of the 87,678 sales lodged for registration, residential and commercial land and property sales in England and Wales.
The most expensive residential sale in December 2016 was of a terraced property in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for £16,200,000. The cheapest residential sale in December 2016 was of a terraced property in Peterlee, County Durham for £14,000.
