Waterfords opens for business in Farnham

Award winning independent estate agent Waterfords, which already has branches in Camberley, Chobham, Sunningdale, Fleet and Yateley, has opened its sixth branch in the affluent town of Farnham.

Celebrating 21 years of estate agency covering parts of Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, Waterfords has built expertise and knowledge, as well as relationships with local homeowners and businesses, some of whom have moved several times over the years with Waterfords.

Over the last few years, the perimeters in which the company’s Fleet office operates have increasingly expanded in order to meet demand from people looking to buy and sell in and around Farnham, and in particular, the periphery villages of Crondall and Ewshot.

Now, with a growing team of local Farnham property experts, Managing Director Brendan Cox says the time was right to open the company’s next branch in a town they have always had desires to be part of. He comments “Farnham is one of Surrey’s most attractive towns, luring more and more families looking to move out of London for a better quality of life and greater value for money.

Farnham has so many interesting period properties which require bespoke marketing to draw particular attention to the features which make these homes so unique. We often find vendors have a story to tell about their home and its history, so the opportunity to work with some of the beautiful Georgian houses, cottages and even mansions of Farnham is a very exciting prospect for us.”

To celebrate the launch of their new branch, Waterfords has been running a ‘Focus on Farnham’ photography competition. All entries will be exhibited at the company’s official launch evening on Thursday 7th April 6pm-8pm. Local residents have been invited to attend and toast the opening with a glass of bubbly. The winners of the photography competition, whose images will feature prominently in the new branch, will also be revealed on the night and prizes will be given to first, second and third place entries.
