Transform your home!

Struggling to make your property appealing and sellable? Have you been dying to create something magical to your property? Don’t worry we are here to help – we have got five top tips to make both your indoor and outdoor features attractive and transform your space into something magnificent!

But what is attractive? Most buyers are looking for rooms to relax in and enjoy their precious time with their family and friends. But it’s not all about what you need to do to fix your property to sell. This blog will help you select the correct features to suit your style and to make your property more alive!

Furnishings and Fittings

Now I don’t mean to sound too obvious, but it is important that you make sure you choose furniture that fits your room and ensure that you don’t go too overboard.

Outdoors

When it comes to your outdoor space it is often neglected during the renovation or redecorating of a house. You can totally restore this unloved space by adding an amazing feature which will be the envy of all your friends and neighbours.

For big outdoor areas, large statement pieces can do wonders for your garden. Try a big fountain or pond to spruce it up. In contrast, big features can detract from the garden if the area is petite. Try and opt for smaller design items such as lanterns and bird baths.

Indoors

You can build a brand new entertainment space and rooms to relax in which can be highly attractive if you ever happen to sell your home.

Try adding small signature items such as a vintage chair to draw the eye in smaller rooms. And if that doesn’t suit your taste you could try a floating chair (I know most of us have dreamt about owning one of these before).

In larger rooms why not opt for an outdoor feel by adding an area with several of your favourite plants. Or alternatively you could even add in a pool table and make this room your new games room.

If money is no problem then you can go wild – chandeliers, indoor waterfalls, you name it! They will all give you a fantastic designer look.

But you don’t have to break the bank; you can revamp and reuse items you already have in your home. Have an old chair in your garage? Paint over it; add a cushion and you’re good to go.

Outdoor Food Preparation Area

If you’re looking for luxury, this is it. Creating an outdoor kitchen is really something extraordinary; you can entertain under the stars without having to worry about having to dash back to the kitchen. It will be your perfect spot for kicking back whilst you watch your food cook. And who doesn’t love a barbecue? You can cook delicious concoctions there and then!

Blinds, Blinds, Blinds!

Outdoor blinds are a great way to make the most of your beautiful patio space all year long and enables you to enjoy the stunning view of your back garden. Not only does it protect you from the sun and creepy crawlies in the summer but it can also keep the rain and wind away from you in those dreaded winter months. And for living in England that could be everyday!

Get Some Tech

Getting an outdoor TV can give you the opportunity to relax outside watching a film whilst soaking up the sun. But if you’re worried you’ll be cold towards the evening why not invest in an outdoor gas fire pit. It’s a great invention that not only is a great feature but it also gives the elusion of a larger area from all its light.

Another great idea is to get a hot tub – you can unwind from the long day at work in the comfort of your own garden.

Window to the Heart

The best way of taking the outside and truly putting into your home are sliding glass doors! Wall-to-wall or floor-to-ceiling, they give a stunning indoor-outdoor feel to your home and will enable light to flood through you’re living room, all the while not having to step a foot out into the chilly weather outside (unless your lucky enough to meet the sun everyday, in which case this will enable you to only take a couple of steps into luxury).
