‘Leave’ takes lead according to YouGov poll.

According to a YouGov poll for ITV, Bloomberg reports support for Britain to leave the European Union stood 4 points ahead of support for remaining in the EU, voting takes place on June 23 just over 2 weeks away.

In a June survey of 3,405 people commissioned by ITV’s “Good Morning Britain”, Yougov found 45% said they would vote to leave the EU, while 41% backed a vote to remain and 11 per cent of voters remained undecided.

Both David Cameron and Michael Gove appeared on sky TV in front of a live audience last week to make their points in support of ‘Remain’ and ‘Leave’ respectively, further TV debates to take place in the run up to the referendum.

 
Latest odds with the bookies still suggest remain are ahead, however the odds have been greatly reduced since a week ago, the pound has weakened on the exchanges over the weekend in response to the recent poll which put ‘Leave’ ahead of ‘Remain’.
