UK Property Transactions Count – August 2016

Released yesterday 21st September from HM Revenue and Customs; the monthly property transactions completed in the UK with value of £40,000 or above.

The provisional seasonally adjusted UK property transaction count for August 2016 was 97,660 residential and 10,620 non-residential transactions.

Residential transactions
There has been negligible change in the seasonally adjusted estimate of the number of residential property transactions between July 2016 and August 2016. This month’s seasonally adjusted figure is 6.1% lower compared with the same month last year.
