The most recently released HomeLet Rental Index (September) states that 2016 to date has seen a slower rate of rental growth, compared to the same period last year.
The increase in average rental value is 3 per cent higher than the same period last year, standing at £910pcm compared previously to £884pcm.
In comparison to the same period last year average rental values have continued to rise in ten out of twelve regions in the UK, in September 2016 average rental values in London (£1,555) were 70.9% higher than the UK (£910).
