Rayhan Rafiq Omar: Unmortgage

Ray is the founder of Unmortgage, the new way to buy a home without a loan. He is a residential property expert with 17 years experience managing and growing a residential property portfolio. Ray previously worked at asset manager Insight Investment where he learnt about the world of pensions and Liability Driven Investment.
Marcus Dixon: Head of Research: LonRes

With over 14 years of experience, Marcus is one of the sector’s leading residential housing analysts. His career began within the Savills Residential Research team where, as an Associate Director, he was involved with both in-house projects and on one-off consultancy reports commissioned by developers, investors and valuers. In 2011, Marcus joined independent property analysts, Dataloft, where he worked as a senior analyst specialising in the prime London housing market. Marcus was appointed as Head of Research at LonRes in 2015, and regularly appears in both the national and industry press.

Vanessa Hale: Partner of Research: Strutt & Parker

Vanessa has 16 years of diverse experience in global research with over a decade specifically in property. She has worked across two continents on multiple sectors of the real estate industry including: office, industrial, retail, residential (new and existing homes, private rented sector (PRS), build to rent (BTR), and senior living), hotel, healthcare and mixed-use. Using a variety of research methodologies and original research to execute projects, Vanessa enables businesses to understand market trends and their potential impacts. She is currently responsible for leading the Housing Futures programme in the UK, identifying trends that will impact the future homes that we plan, design, build and live in.

Nick Katz – CEO & Co-Founder: acasa (formally Splittable)

Nick has worked in the US and the UK for nearly a decade in just about every segment of the real estate industry possible. He’s bought and sold commercial buildings, improved the energy efficiency of hotels, and deployed software to large property portfolios. In 2013 Nick joined VC backed Honest Buildings as Head of Europe before launching acasa. Nick loves the idea of leveraging technology to help people live better at home. He’s an expert at dealing with housemate issues having rented and shared nine properties in London. His vision at acasa is to create a unified, frictionless and deeply integrated platform that will bring the home into the digital age. Ultimately, creating the ability to ‘log-in’ and ‘log-out’ of any home, anywhere in the world.
