Industry experts join forces to host free workshop for Estate and Letting Agents

In the midst of a changing lettings market, three industry experts have joined forces to host a series of free one-off and exclusive workshops throughout October on ‘Restructuring Your Lettings Business’.

Simon Duce, managing director of ARPM Outsourced Lettings Solutions, has teamed up with property business consultant and owner of Integra Property Services, Michael Day, and Peter Chapman of TM Training and Development.

The trio are inviting estate and letting agents to one of three morning events being held in Watford, Guildford and Brentwood next month that aim to equip them with the tools to overcome the tenant fee ban, win more landlords and grow their lettings business.

Simon Duce of ARPM said: “Estate and letting agents are heading into an extremely challenging time. For some years now, online and hybrid providers have been posing a threat to the traditional high street model, and now the tenant fee ban could cause many agents to see a dramatic drop in their income.

“We’ve all heard about the big chains merging and the smaller ones selling up, but only by carrying out a thorough analysis of their current lettings business and exploring innovative opportunities for growth can agents truly understand the options available to them.

“Right now, it’s the calm before the storm and far too many agents are burying their heads in the sand. We want to help them take back control of their business and help them decide whether they are going to sink or swim when the tide comes in.”

Mike, Peter and Simon will be sharing methods for analysing your lettings business and evaluating opportunities for growth and increasing income; streamlining internal processes and utilising the best available Proptech on the market to cut costs and save time.

Peter Chapman of TM Training & Development commented: “There is currently huge demand for our services as agents start to recognise the role that training has in their business’s success, so I am delighted to be able to impart just some of the expertise I have alongside other industry professionals for free. I urge as many estate and letting agents as possible to take advantage of this opportunity.”

Integra’s Mike Day added: “We are in a period of enormous change – legislation, competition, new business models and technology are all driving change and lettings agents simply must review, plan and reorganise their businesses if they are to survive and thrive in the future.”

The first workshop is being held at Holiday Inn Express in Watford on Wednesday 10th October from 9.30 to 12.00, followed by one in Guildford on Wednesday 17th October and one in Brentwood on Tuesday 23rd October.

Places are free but limited, so register now to avoid disappointment.
