Heading for the worst house price slump in 20 years?
Headlines since the Brexit deal was thrown out by MP’s against the hope of Theresa May there has been gloomy reports out towards the housing market. Already seeing falls in many areas and evident reductions across property portals, there is now fear of a house price slump.
Maybe it is a case of ‘Don’t Panic Mr Mainwaring‘ as it is simply scaremongering, but with prices already falling and potential buyers knowing that they could get £1,000’s or if they are patient £10,000’s off their property purchase then a slump can certainly appear on the horizon.
“Around three in 10 (28 per cent) surveyors quizzed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors said they expect sales numbers to fall in the next three months rather than rise.” Full report can be read on The Sun website.
