WHICH COALITION WOULD BE BEST FOR THE PROPERTY INDUSTRY?

The countdown is now really on with just 54 days before the General Election 2015 on the 7th May, with the rising popularity of alternative political parties a coalition government looks a distinct possibility. WHICH ONE WOULD BEST BENEFIT THE PROPERTY INDUSTRY?

There is apprehension in the air most definately and many commentators would admit that the slowing down of the property sales market late last year and early this year is partly if not wholly due to the up and coming election. It has been reported in recent months that London house prices have suffered the most, prices in the capital have actually dropped according to some indexes.

If we get a coalition which mix of policies will best benefit our industry, will the way we vote cause the opposite to happen or infact cause a coalition, never before has there been such uncertainty as to the outcome in the run up to the General Election.

Over the next few weekends leading up to the election I will be looking at some of the important policies in the party manifestos which are directly related to the property industry, whether they may have negative or positive impact on the property market?

I invite readers to post their views about how they see the vote going , which party or coalition do they think would be best for the property industry.
