Famous casinos with unusual interiors

When you mention https://ukcasinosnotgamstop.com/, what comes to mind? Probably the huge, glitzy resorts of Las Vegas and Macau, or the elegance and luxury of Monaco. However, not all casinos are created equal. In fact, there are some that are just plain quirky. In this article, we take a look at some of the most unusual casinos to be found around the world. From strange locations to myths and legends, find out what makes these casinos stand out from the crowd.

Basement Casino

What could be more unusual than going underground to play casino games? That’s exactly what North Cadbury Court offers. The stunning 16th century Grade 1 country house is located in the Somerset countryside near Yeovil. It can be used to host:

• weddings;
• holidays;
• corporate events;
• etc.

The house has 21 luxurious bedrooms, a dining room, a ballroom, a library and an indoor swimming pool. But perhaps the fanciest of its attractions is the casino in the basement.

The owners of this beautiful home, the Montgomery family, decided to convert the basement into an exclusive authentic casino, adding a unique twist to the country house. You can play roulette, blackjack or poker under the guidance of professional local croupiers. With low ceilings and a maximum capacity of 30 people, the gaming room has a truly exclusive atmosphere. The casino is only available if you have reserved the entire house for the event, which emphasises its exclusivity.

The underground casino

If the thought of going down to the basement to play in a casino seems strange to you, then how would you feel about going to a casino in an underground cave!

That’s exactly what you’ll find in the town of Coober Pedy in the Australian desert. The town was founded in 1915 when miners discovered opal. Given the extreme temperatures, which often exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the shade, the new inhabitants created ‘dugouts’ where they dug caves and built their homes underground.

Today Kuber Pedy is known as the opal capital of the world, and around 60% of its inhabitants live underground. Visitors can experience life in the dugout at the Desert Cave Hotel, where 19 of the 50 rooms are below ground level. You can escape the heat and play slot machines or other games in the underground casino. You can also relax in the underground bar and buy the opal for which the area is famous in the underground shopping arcade.

Haunted Casino

At first glance, Bally’s may seem like a typical Las Vegas casino with nothing out of the ordinary. However, it is the backstory of this casino that deserves a place on this list. The complex was formerly known as the MGM Grand Hotel, and in November 1980 the worst disaster in Nevada history occurred – a fire at the MGM Grand devastated the building. In a tragic accident more than 80 people died. The building was later sold and renamed Bally’s, and the hotel still includes part of the original tower where the fire occurred.

The Bally’s casino is believed to be haunted. Many guests and staff describe eerie apparitions. There are reports of ghosts appearing in stairwells and corridors.

Others have reported hearing strange noises and noticing furniture inexplicably moving around the rooms. Whether it’s the ghosts of those who tragically died in a fire or just overly imaginative minds, Bally’s has become known as one of the most haunted places in Las Vegas.

Casino in a taxi

In the summer of 2016, Birmingham’s Grosvenor Casino launched an unusual mobile casino to promote its summer campaigns. A bespoke London taxi was fitted with a gaming table and dealer. It also had televisions broadcasting sports events and the option to play online, as well as a bar.

After the casino’s launch, the casino chain’s sales and marketing director announced that taxis could be hailed and passengers would be taken to the casino’s Hill Street branch for free. Alternatively, for a donation to a charity chosen by the company, a ride could be made to any location in town. After launching the taxi casino in Birmingham, the car went on tour to other major UK cities.

Virtual reality casinos

In the last decade, online casinos have been gaining popularity. They make it incredibly easy and convenient to experience the thrill of playing casino games for real money, even from the comfort of your own home. However, some players lack the authentic experience of playing at a real casino that you can get by visiting a brick and mortar establishment. However, there is one operator that has developed an innovative and creative way to bridge the gap between online casinos and their land-based counterparts. SlotsMillion has launched the world’s first virtual reality casino.

By downloading the VR app and wearing Oculus glasses, you can enter the world of a virtual casino with over 40 real-money games to choose from. You’ll find popular slots including Gonzo’s Quest, Enchanted Meadow and Starburst. Multiple players can enter the room at the same time, so you’re likely to run into other VR gamers as you make your way around the casino room. Even if you don’t have virtual reality glasses, you can opt for the 3D online casino app. The innovative VR/3D casino provides the most immersive and engaging online casino gaming experience.

The world of gambling is very attractive and diverse, today every operator is trying to create something unique and stand out, which is how famous casinos with unusual interiors appear. Such establishments attract players from all over the world, giving them hours of pleasure and enjoyment of an unmatched appearance.
