Generating leads for your business in 2023. Don’t ignore your own website!

Leading website and marketing solutions business Property Webmasters, understand that it can be difficult to generate quality leads in 2023 with tried and tested methods possibly not working as effectively as they used to and recognise that agents are always searching for new ideas that will make them stand out from their competitors.

They have identified six core areas where leads can be generated the game in 2023.
 Networking
 Social Media
 Existing Database
 Video
 Portals
 Testimonials and Referrals

Their conclusions are that all of the above can be effective if used well and consistently for maximum effect with the use of automated responses and OpenAI such as ChatGPT starting to change the game.

These new technologies were created to speed up processes and provide helpful information. Estate agents should ensure they have efficient follow-up processes with clients. OpenAI’s such as ChatGPT can provide both content and prompts.

After all, there is little point in working hard to generate leads if they are not followed up effectively. Systems such as Zapier allow you to connect your apps into automated workflows and allow agents to move information between apps or platforms as well as check for alerts in multiple places.

Another huge positive of using an application like Zapier is that it allows an agent to keep track of their leads. One of the key elements that cannot be ignored is the importance of an agent’s own website. Not only is this a 365/24/7 window on the world but can be the conduit through which all lead generation is managed.

Jamie Arthur, CEO of Property Webmasters said: “With the growth of social media and the portals over recent years there has perhaps been a tendency by some to ignore the importance and potential of their own website. Of course, the reach of the portals and social media should not be ignored but driving more enquiries and contact through one’s own website is crucial, as it is entirely down to the agent as to how they stand out from the crowd, show their points of differentiation and demonstrate added value in what they do.

Websites don’t sleep or close and, using the latest technology in a “joined up” and interactive way, they can be working hard on an agent’s behalf when their offices are closed as well as when they are open.

With websites now available on a SAAS model, the days of huge capital outlay are largely over and another beauty of this approach is keeping your business at the forefront of what is new and relevant in helping successfully run a business.

It is a fast-moving environment and it can be difficult to stay ahead, or even keep up with what is out there.

Property Webmasters have produced a FREE guide for estate agents entitled – How can estate agents attract leads in 2023? – in which they rate the effectiveness of each of the six core lead generation areas – this can be downloaded from the resources section of their website at www.propertywebmasters.com
