Fine & Country welcomes back Managing Director Nicky Stevenson
Fine & Country is pleased to announce the return of Managing Director, Nicky Stevenson, following her maternity leave. Stevenson, who has played a central role in driving the brand’s growth and strengthening its position in the upper quartile of the market since taking on the role in 2020, now resumes leadership of the global network.
During her time away, Jonathan Handford, one of Fine & Country’s most respected and longstanding representatives, stepped into the role of Interim Managing Director. Under his guidance, the brand continued to flourish, maintaining its momentum and reinforcing the high standards for which Fine & Country is known.
Stevenson expressed her gratitude for Handford’s stewardship throughout the past year: “I am delighted to be returning to the role and incredibly grateful to Jon for his leadership during my time away. Knowing the business was in such capable hands allowed me to fully focus on my family during this special time. Jon’s deep understanding of the brand, his passion for our network, and the expertise he brings from more than two decades at Fine & Country have been invaluable.”
Handford, Managing Director of Fine & Country Leamington Spa and a two-time winner of the brand’s Best Overall Operator award, will now step aside from the interim role but will continue to support the business on a consultancy basis. His ongoing involvement ensures continuity as the company continues to execute on its ambitious growth plans.
Reflecting on the transition, Handford comments: “It has been a privilege to lead the network over the past year. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to supporting Nicky and the leadership team in a consultancy capacity. Fine & Country is a brand I care deeply about, and I’m excited to continue contributing to its success.”
Fine & Country acknowledges the exceptional work Handford has delivered during this period. His leadership, knowledge, and unwavering passion for the brand have played a crucial role in supporting Licensees and Associates across the network.
As Stevenson returns to the helm, she will continue working closely with Chief Marketing Officer Emilie Despois, Chief Operating Officer Phillipa Legg, and the Business Development team to drive the company’s strategic vision forward.
