Some Top Tips for Twitter:

Create yourself a professional and relevant profile. Make sure you put to good use your profile image and text to include linking to your website.

Publish Quality Content that Your Target Users will Find Interesting. By sharing great content people will in turn share that great content out also expanding your reach.

Be Social on Twitter. Do not forget to follow other accounts and if you find other people’s content interesting then let them know that and re-share if needed.

Have a Regular Presence. Make sure that people know you are a regular on social media rather than a random user, people prefer to know that you are active and likely to be responsive to them if they decide to engage with you.

Use other forms of Marketing to promote your Twitter Account. You do not have to just stick to Twitter to promote yourself, you can also let people know you use Twitter via avenues such as your email signature, business cards, websites and even shop windows.

Think outside of the box. Not always you have to be promoting yourself, in fact most of what you share should be no-promotional so as you get used to the audience that follows you and how they react to what you share, think about using great phrases, images, videos and links which will get people talking and remembering you. Sometimes a headline such as ‘Estate Agent Board leads to marriage proposal’ is much more interesting to followers (if you have a story to fit it) than ‘Another house sold in the High Street by Us’.
