Fine & Country’s Welsh offering strengthened by topflight property trio

International premium estate agency brand, Fine & Country, is pleased to announce expansion in Wales with a new North Wales license, founded by former partners at McCartneys Estate Agents, (Picture L to R) Tom CarterMark Fish, and Jamie Tulloch. The initiative officially commenced on 2nd January 2024, marking a significant expansion for the brand into this picturesque and diverse region.

The trio of partners bring a wealth of experience and industry expertise to Fine & Country North Wales. Carter comments on the decision to establish the license, “We jumped at the opportunity to create Fine & Country North Wales for three main reasons. Firstly, there are tremendous properties across the region, which we feel would benefit from all that Fine & Country has to offer when it comes to marketing. Secondly, we believe that there is a gap in the agency market across the area serving the premium property market, and finally, it is an absolutely stunning part of the world in our opinion.”

Tulloch adds, “Having worked with the brand across Mid Wales and Shropshire for approximately the last 20 years, gaining particular traction in the last five or six, the chance to launch Fine & Country in such a wonderful area was a no brainer. The brand has evolved considerably over the years and with everything that Fine & Country now offers, combined with our successes in growing the brand in our previous territory, we are excited to bring Fine & Country’s exceptional services to North Wales.”

Fish highlights the unique qualities of the region: “North Wales offers a complete lifestyle change or, in fact, a different way of life, whatever buyers are looking for. The area offers particularly great value for money in comparison to many other parts of the UK, yet is still incredibly well connected, therefore offering the best of both worlds.”

Fine & Country North Wales will distinguish itself by adopting a modern approach to customer service with Carter emphasising, “We will not have a physical high street office as we feel that the buyers for the types of property we will be selling will be coming in to the area from elsewhere, and think that the brand’s  global network is going to be more beneficial to our clients than a high street presence in North Wales.”

Despite recent price corrections in the property market over the past 12-18 months, Carter remains optimistic. He notes, “if properties are priced correctly, presented correctly, and given the correct exposure, then there is still a strong pool of buyers looking in the area. There is a real mix of property across the territory from large, period, country houses to one-off contemporary homes, as well as coastal cottages with wonderful views and exclusive, luxury, new builds. The average price of our target, premium properties is in the region of £850,000.”

Nicky Stevenson, Managing Director of Fine & Country, expresses her excitement about the expansion into North Wales: “We are thrilled to see Fine & Country North Wales launch under the capable leadership of Tom, Jamie and Mark. Their existing knowledge and experience of the brand is a phenomenal advantage and I look forward to helping the team celebrate many successes in the coming months and years. They have already hit the ground running in every sense and truly embody the Fine & Country brand.”

Fine & Country specialises in the sale and rental of prime residential properties. The company is in over 300 locations worldwide including Mauritius, South Africa and Australia. Fine & Country has won Best Estate Agency Marketing and Best International Estate Agency Marketing seven times in the past 10 years at the International Property Awards.
