Decrease in number of residential property transactions

Monthly property transactions completed in the UK with value of £40,000 or above for September 2016 released today from HM Revenue and Customs.
The provisional seasonally adjusted UK property transaction count for September 2016 was 93,130 residential and 9,670 non-residential transactions.

The seasonally adjusted estimate of the number of residential property transactions decreased by 4.3% between August 2016 and September 2016. This month’s seasonally adjusted figure is 11.3% lower compared with the same month last year. more…..
