Dexters purchase London & Surrey arm of rival Jackson-Stops

No price has yet been shared, but recent news is that the estate agency chain in Dexters UK have purchased the London and Surrey arm of rival Jackson-Stops meaning they will take over the 11 offices including Mayfair and Pimlico. The purchase will grow Dexters to 106 branch offices and goes against the current negative woes in the world of property blamed on Brexit.

Dexters UK saw a £100 million annual turnover in 2018.

Jeff Doble, founder of Dexters was quoted as saying that demand for London property remains strong both for buyers and renters.

Nick Leeming, chairman at Jackson-Stops, was quoted as saying that the deal represents an exciting opportunity and new phase for Jackson-Stops.
