Estate Agencies Videos starring Themselves:

Today we are seeing more and more video content within the estate agency sector and this isn’t in reference to one of Channel 4’s broadcasts such as Kirsty Allsop and Phil Spencer in Location, Location, Location or even The Great House Giveaway. Here I am referencing those videos that are being created by the estate agents themselves in order to promote them and their services. Local estate agents braving the bright lights of the video camera in order to warm clients to their agency or even to showcase their more prized listings.

It is a number of years since I was heavily involved in property videos (I founded Property on Video) where I was turning out video property tours (with a handheld camera I might add) for agencies across London, an era when not even a dedicated URL field was available on Rightmove for such innovations of advertising property with videos!

I am pleased to see that I was merely ahead of the curve and today many estate agents embrace video marketing and we tend to see more and more senior level professionals facing videos which is a big positive. For sure most will not be interested in furthering their acting / stage careers, but instead wanting to make themselves / their agency far more approachable.

The public have for a long time been influenced by famous faces and especially those they see on video (or television) and as we have far more video sources to entertain ourselves by (television, internet, social media) then the opportunity for stardom increases. Sometimes viewing figures on (live) videos on YouTube will outdo those on main stream television / satellite / internet channels.

I thought I would take a look and share some videos being created by estate agencies to give you an idea of the good work being done:

David Lee Estates (YouTube Channel) – Probably one of the busiest estate agencies with videos and offering a wonderful diversity on content from local business interviews to property video tours with presenters.

Maurice Kilbride Estate Agency (YouTube Channel) – An estate agency that likes to embrace innovation and certainly social media with property video tours presented by Maurice Kilbride himself.

Lawrence Rand Estate Agents (YouTube Channel) – Recently focusing on local market reports and local business interviews.

Agents4u Estate Agent Northwich (YouTube Channel) – Previously just basic audio tours of property though now full on videos of clients reviewing their customer experiences.

Michael Graham Living (YouTubeChannel) – Though 99% property video tours we have some engagement with the office staff and the video above gives us a great little insight in to ‘a day in the life of an estate agent’.

Haart Estate Agents (YouTube Channel) – Providing great personally presented property videos that really engage well the viewers.
