FCC Paragon partners with Labrador as part of new online support package for tenants and agents

FCC Paragon, a tenancy referencing firm with over 25 years’ experience in the lettings industry, has just launched MyMoveIn, an online platform that supports a tenant’s home move process by assisting with the setup of utilities, services and notifications, whilst simultaneously creating the opportunity for multiple revenue incomes for letting agents.

With the upcoming tenancy fee ban affecting agents and landlords, there is a real demand for ways to offset lost income without penalising tenants or landlords. Via the referencing process, letting agents and landlords can direct their tenants to FCC Paragon’s MyMoveIn platform, where they can access free services such as links to their local council tax department, water/waste providers and HMRC, easing the stress of the move-in process.

Alongside this, MyMoveIn offers a growing number of other products/services to support tenants’ move, such as a no deposit solution, contents insurance and exclusive media and broadband packages through partnerships with Virgin and Carphone Warehouse.  They offer competitive prices to tenants and commission earning opportunities for all letting agents, regardless of whether they use FCC Paragon’s other services or not.

As part of the MyMoveIn service, FCC has agreed an exclusive partnership with one of the UK’s leading Smart switching services, The Labrador, which constantly monitors the energy market for the best deals and tariffs and will automatically switch tenants whenever a better deal is found.

Tenants visiting the MyMoveIn platform can sign up to The Labrador for free, ensuring that they will always be on the best energy tariff available to them. The Labrador will search for the best tariffs in the market and switch the tenant automatically, notifying him/her immediately with the savings made, even taking into account any early termination fees. In addition, The Labrador will automatically co-ordinate the switch over on the tenant’s behalf ensuring they never overpay on energy again and taking away the hassle of the actual switching process.

MD Bryn Cole said “We know in the current environment agents are searching for options and new opportunities to maximise profitability, despite the upcoming obstacles in the rental market.

By using and promoting the MyMoveIn platform to their tenants and landlords, agents can benefit from a whole new income stream whilst offering products and services to tenants that have real integrity and offer genuine savings. The Labrador service, for example, reviews a vast number of energy providers for the best deals. So, the customer is not forced to go with a specific supplier, unlike some home move assistants out there which do not give that freedom”.

Founder CEO of The Labrador Jane Lucy said: “It has been for far too long that either tenants mistakenly think they don’t have the right to switch or that the property is signed up to an expensive tariff that has been selected more for the affiliate revenue than the customer pricing. We’re pleased to be part of a solution to end both of those, unlocking fair and transparent pricing for all.”
