Homelet reveals average rents rose 0.7% in UK in November.

Latest Homelet Rental Index report – November 2017 data reveals rents in the UK rose by 0.7% in November compared to the same month a year ago, the average monthly rent now stands at £904 a month, when London is excluded, the average UK rental value was £753 in November 2017.

Homelet states: Rents in London decreased by 0.2% in November this year compared to November 2016; the average monthly rent in the capital now stands at £1,530 a month.

Scotland has seen a 1.8% increase in average rental values in November compared to the same period last year, at £620 per month according to Homelet. A similar increase of 1.8% seen in Wales in average rental values in November compared to the same period in 2016, at £610 per month.
