House prices fall in March and slump in demand continues…

A ‘cautious market’ is being used to describe the current situation in housing with a demand slump and price falls in varied news stories across the internet such as from City AM.

Rightmove’s recent report stated that property prices fell in March 2019 with no ‘spring bounce-back’ that many investors had been hoping for – Great news for those who have been priced out of the market and hoping for prices to become less over inflated.

Of course, the democratic decision to leave the EU, the good old Brexit excuse, is being seen as the biggest reason for the current negative trend… Demand now being the lowest level in almost six years (15% drop on house hunters in February 2019 to 252 average per agency which is the lowest figure since July 2013).
