Housing Secretary annouces plans for 200,000 homes and green spaces
With current housing needs the country, and certainly within the South and South East region, it will be a welcome announcement that more homes are to be built – Yes it will all depend where and how many of those homes are affordable and who gets to buy them!
James Brokenshire (Housing Secretary) recently announced that around 200,000 high quality homes are planned to be built stating them as also offering green spaces (no doubt in preperation of the wave of disputes that each will raise).
With the current wave of increased immigration to the country and the natural growth and increased demands of people wishing to live in the South of England especially for working reasons, then it will surely be welcomed by many having more opportunity to move / get on to the property ladder.
