Housing white paper sets out government plans
Released yesterday 7th February from Department for Communities and Local Government ‘A housing white paper setting out the government’s plans to reform the housing market and boost the supply of new homes in England’.

It includes measures to ensure the government: plan for the right homes in the right places – build homes faster – diversify the housing market – help people now.
In an effort to encourage developers to build houses faster the government will be looking at speeding up the planning process, however green belt land will continue to be protected stressed Sajid Jarvid.
The government is proposing to make the private rented sector more friendly for families by taking steps to promote longer tenancy agreements.
