A night of success for #PropTechDen Manchester in February

Proptech is certainly a vibrant topic and coming with it plenty of investments, partnerships and innovation being created throughout the UK and beyond. One of the popular UK events for PropTech is the #PropTechDen live pitching events launched in 2017 which sees Dragons Den style evenings take place in London and in Manchester.

The recent Manchester #PropTechDen took place at the XYZ Works offices and led by the host of the event Nigel Stephens from who is founder of www.nigelstephens.com

How do you measure success of an event? For me its about a few things – Do people do business as a result of the event? A PropTechDen Manchester they do. Are the attendees wanting to come to your next event? At PropTechDen Manchester, they have and they will. Does the event grow? Last night we doubled our attendance compared to our first event, last November. PropTechDen Manchester was a great success last night. Thanks to everyone involved and see you at our next event.” Nigel Stephens

Having attended the first PropTechDen event in November and gained great Manchester based contacts especially a genuinely potential ‘national contract’ with one of the attendees I was keen to attend the second one on 12th February. I was not disappointed. There were even more quality people attending than before and four great mutually beneficial connections have been made – two of them the presenters!” Paul Lawton of Chat Heroes.

The nights agenda included:

18.40 – 18.55 – Main sponsor presentation – Hello Again – Tom / Heather Staff

18.55 – 19.10 – Media sponsor presentation – EyeSpy360 – Andrew Nicholls

19.15 – 19.35 – 1st Pitch and Judge Questions – www.beagel.io Healy Hynes

19.40 – 20.00 – 2nd Pitch and Judge Questions – www.edozo.com Marcus Ginn

20.30 – 20.55 – 4th Pitch and Judge Questions – www.canddi.com Tim Langley / Russell Mills

PropTech always captures the imagination of industry professionals and investors – On the evening the judging panel was:

A full room, four live pitchers and a panel of five great and respected property professional judges, the evening was another successful one for the #PropTechDen concept.

“You’re streets ahead of others… Great event tonight. Thank you for including me as a judge. I enjoyed it and found it eye opening. I’d def do it again if you’d have me back!” Adam Posner from KPMG.co.uk
