Property valuation leads to agents up 50% on last year

The launch of a new valuation product and AI optimisations to the existing product suite led to a significant uplift in valuation leads for agents from Rightmove in January.

Valuation leads grew by 50% in January 2026 compared to the same period last year.

The launch of Online Agent Valuation towards the end of 2025 helps connect agents with serious home-movers who prefer to get a valuation from a local agent online first, before getting an in person one.

Online Agent Valuation joins a strong suite of valuation tools that were optimised in 2025. The suite of tools equips agents with efficient and effective digital ways to serve up more opportunities, enabling them to focus on their specialist skills and expert local knowledge to win more instructions. Online Agent Valuation includes an AI-powered writing tool which creates a personalised response, speeding up the process for agents.

David Anderson, Director at Rightmove, said: “We’ve been focusing on developing new valuation products and upgrading existing ones based on agent feedback, to enable them to win more instructions in efficient and effective ways. We’ve also been implementing AI solutions where we identify that they can enhance products and drive more value for agents, such as speeding up manual processes and better predicting potential sellers to lead to greater conversions.”

Rightmove’s valuation suite also includes:

  • Rightmove Discover, an email product which has been enhanced with AI to predict even more accurately whether homeowners might be ready to sell, giving agents an effective way to reach sellers earlier in their journey
  • Opportunity Manager, an interactive dashboard that helps prioritise prospective vendor leads for agents – recent AI enhancements have improved the vendor prediction methodology and opened up a bigger pool of potential sellers
  • Local Valuation Alert, the most established valuation product which enables agents to get in front of prospective sellers at the moment they are considering selling to offer in-person valuations
  • Best Price Guide, the most popular tool in Rightmove Plus that draws on millions of live and historic property data points, so agents can quickly and easily create and share detailed digital valuation reports with potential vendors in a few clicks
  • Premium Price Guide, builds on the Best Price Guide by giving agents access to more data, and real-time notifications letting agents know the moment their valuation reports have been viewed by potential sellers
  • Instant Valuation, the first step for homeowners to get a property estimate before engaging with a local agent for a bespoke valuation, powered by Rightmove data and data from HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland
