#PropTechDen doubles in size and attracts international attendees in London:

A very big thank you to all those who pitched, judged and came to watch #PropTechDen August which was double the size attendee wise and alive and kicking across social media spreading the good word of Proptech towards the industry nationally and internationally.

The format for #PropTechDen is to both highlight and help find partners/investors for PropTech start ups via a regular event in the same style to that of the well known TV show Dragons Den. Each event there are a selection of start up companies given a 25 minute slot to pitch their company in front of an audience and selected panel of industry experts and judges who have the chance to ask questions and make direct contact if interested in investing.

August #PropTechDen was kindly supported by Google Campus London and the event’s media partner PayProp who showcased their commitment and passion for PropTech by delivering a speech to the 100 + audience and were there all evening to give advice to and build relationships with all those who attended with PropTech as their vision.

Judges included Russell Quirk of eMoov, Reece Chowdry of RLC Ventures, Gavriel Merkado of REalyse, Alex Evans of Estate Apps, Glynn Trott of LetMC and Bertie Kerr from Fixflo.

The audience was awash of keen and interested investors, Proptech start ups, estate agents, programmers, marketeers and more to include companies such as Century 21, Eventbrite, Goodlord, Zerodeposit, Strutt & Parker, Round Hill Capital and more. Lots of people were using social media to share comments, highlight the startups and build warm connections thanks to #PropTechDen – “The reason I set up #PropTechDen was to bring together a like minded community from three different angles, those who are looking to find help and investment for their start-up, those looking to help them and invest and also an audience that are keen on the subject and want to network within this corner of the industry.Christopher Walkey, Founder of #PropTechDen www.TeqDen.com (soon to launch).

The evening saw five great pitches all showcasing great ideas with great passion for what they do:

Kristjan Byfield from The Depositary

Curran McKay from Reposit

Tim Hill and Grant Hyslop from Keyzapp

Ariana Alexander-Sefre from ParkBee
