Purchasers of US Investment Property – Indians now 3rd.

Many will know the surge in Indian wealth, news stories like them now being the 11th largest super-rich population or that the wealth of India’s super rich is likely  to double by 2020 adds to the now un-surprising news that they are now the 3rd highest purchase of US Property.

Behind Canada being first and the China, India as reportedly spent $8 billion of US property invest in 2015.

“I think and I believe Indians who live in the US are one of the largest group of millionaires in the America… they are already there and therefore they are investing in real estate” Sotheby’s International Realty president and CEO Philip A White is reported as saying.

The amount Indians are purchasing abroad is not expected to slow down as they place big premium on property for investment, a safe asset to acquire for it’s portfolio of investors.

It is all positive news from India where ever you look on-line, mostly predicted continued growth above impressive figures of 7% that it shows already. India has potential to grow at 8 to 9%: Nouriel Roubini.
