Rightmove and Propertymark Announce Partnership

Love or Hate Rightmove

Rightmove and Propertymark today announce a two-year partnership to provide agents with the latest local market data and easier access to training at events across Great Britain.

The partnership will see Rightmove data presented at nine key Propertymark regional conferences and the Scottish national conference during the remainder of 2023, with bespoke insights prepared to help agents in attendance with their local market.

Rightmove will also have a stand at select events to speak with agents about training and standards within the industry, and the benefits of getting qualified with its Level 3 Certificate for Estate and Letting Agents (CELA).

Agents with at least a year’s experience can use their CELA qualification to apply for the ‘Member’ grade of Propertymark’s National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA) and Association of Residential Letting Agents (MARLA) once they have passed their final exam.

The partnership follows Rightmove’s headline sponsorship of the Propertymark One national conference in June, which saw over 1200 attendees.

Rightmove data will be presented at the following conferences this year;

  • Liverpool – 7th September 2023
  • Newcastle – 14th September 2023
  • Eastwood – 21st September 2023
  • Southampton – 28th September 2023
  • Guildford – 5th October 2023
  • Glasgow (Scottish national) – 12th October 2023
  • Canterbury – 9th November 2023
  • Harrogate – 14th November 2023
  • Brighton – 23rd November 2023
  • Cambridge – 30th November 2023

Agents can view the full list of conferences here.

Rightmove’s Head of Education Jason Charles says: “In a fast-changing market, agents need the best insights relevant to their local market to continue to be successful and identify new opportunities in their area. We’re looking forward to speaking with agents from across Great Britain and encouraging more to stand out from the crowd by enrolling on the Rightmove CELA qualification.”

Nathan Emerson, Propertymark CEO commented: “The sector has seen some major changes recently and the landscape is ever-changing, so it’s important that as the UK’s leading regulatory body for the sector, we provide the tools and information needed to help agents keep up to date and advanced to be the best they can be.

“We look forward to working with Rightmove in our new partnership and hope agents take advantage of the new offerings this brings including hearing the latest insights at our upcoming events.”
