So, 1842 founded Humberts are due to fold – Sign of times for High Street Estate Agency?

Latest rumours and news reports state that Humberts, an estate agency chain with history dating back to 1842 is set to go in to administration shortly. Regarded as one of the oldest and most traditional names in the industry, it will be a sad day if they are to leave the world of UK Estate Agency.

We received a few messages last few days via Twitter asking if we knew more about Humberts and what the official news is. Expect more news to be released from Humberts officially soon.

Checking their website and latest blogs, news looks good with varied appointments, ie: “Humberts Appoints New Head of Sales and Head of Franchising” January 11th 2018

Humberts will now surely be looking to make savings to include redundancies in the near future along with a search for a new buyer / potential merger.
