Spike in UK rental market activity for November 2017 according to Agency Express

The latest Agency Express Property Activity Index report for November 2017 headlines ‘Spike in UK rental market November 2017 ‘.

Their latest data reveals the national month on month figures for new listings ‘To Let’ sat at 12.6%, and following three consecutive months of decline figures for properties ‘Let’ climbed back to 2.8%.

The report mentions: Across the rest of the UK the buoyant trend continued. Nine of the twelve regions recorded by the Property Activity Index reported increases in new properties ‘To Let’ and eight reported increases in properties ‘Let’.

The largest declines in this month’s index were recorded in London.

Commenting on the Property Activity Index Lettings Report, Stephen Watson Managing Director of Agency Express said:

“Following what has been a mixed few months for the UK lettings market, this month’s figures are robust overall and the increase has redressed the balance. As we move in to December where a seasonal slowdown is expected it will be interesting to see how the year end figures fair.”
