This transaction data published yesterday provides information about the number and types of applications that Land Registry completed in September 2015.

In September 2015:

Land Registry completes 1,513,920 applications

South East tops the table of regional applications with 349,215

Birmingham tops the table of local authority applications with 23,263

The Transaction Data shows Land Registry completed over 1,513,900 applications from its customers in September. This includes 1,480,274 applications by account customers, of which;

373,424 were applications in respect of registered land (dealings)

680,982 were applications to obtain an official copy of a register or title plan, 210,635 were searches, 88,229 were transactions for value.
