ZPG PLC announces that it has agreed to sell Hometrack Australia Pty Limited to REA Group Limited

ZPG Plc, which owns and operates some of the UK’s most trusted digital brands that help empower smarter property and household decisions including Zoopla, uSwitch, Money, PrimeLocation and Hometrack, announces that it has agreed to sell Hometrack Australia Pty Limited to REA Group Limited, subject to approval from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of ZPG said, “ZPG acquired Hometrack Australia as part of our acquisition of the wider Hometrack business in the UK last year and we have always been clear that our core markets are the UK and Europe. We believe that REA Group, as a local operator, would be a more natural owner of the Hometrack Australia business.”
