Why audio tours are no longer a luxury

In fact, using virtual tours, particularly the type with a professional voiceover – should no longer be considered as merely an expensive option for any forward thinking agency. Why? Because they’re more affordable than ever and they help to win instructions.

Not convinced?

Well, if you’ve got a Countrywide branch, or maybe  a Connells / Sequence office in your patch, you’ll know that they are used extensively to win business from the competition… and that probably includes you! These large corporate organisations don’t offer pro voice tours simply to make themselves look great – they’re used to help ‘uplift’ fees, sell ancillary services, and above all, to give their valuers additional marketing to help win a client’s business.

And it’s often the impressive figures behind having a tour that persuades a vendor that it’s a no–brainer not to have one – And therefore who to instruct.

The stats are Convincing

For example, consider Rightmove’s own stats on this – which tell us that pro audio virtual tours can give an uplift in click through rates of around 60%. That’s a very impressive stat that your potential vendors will love to hear. It means your agency can get more eyeballs viewing their home!

If your competition can say that to every one of their market appraisals, why can’t you?

Affordable?

It’s understandable that a key concern for independents, franchisees & smaller agents is often cost. “We don’t have the budget of the corporates, so we can’t do it”. Or, “the vendor won’t pay for things like this” It’s something I hear every day. Well, if I told you that you can order a professionally voiced tour for as little as £3 – is that still too much?

Whatever you personally think of audio tours –  either a great marketing tool or simply a gimmick,  there’s one main question to ask yourself.  If you could tell a prospective vendor at  a market appraisal, that your agency can generate 60% more interest than the other agents, do you think that will help you to win their business?

If you think it might, then take up our 14 day trial today.
