Garden Updates to Add Year Round Value

According to on-line reports after the basics of location and price the garden is the third most popular reason why a buyer would fall in love with a property.

We don’t always get fantastic weather here in the UK, but is seems we still crave outside space.  Therefore to me its incredibly important to make sure that a garden area is usable throughout the year.  For this client, who wanted a low maintenance garden with room for entertaining I added decking to create a patio area and installed a fully lit raised dining room at the end of the garden, allowing the owners to enjoy the space day or night.   Using outside heaters also means you to can dine al fresco for longer.

Wooden decking usually wears pretty quickly, but now there are some fantastic composite versions available which come in an array of chic modern tones as well as  a natural look.  This means low maintenance and longevity with no annual revarnishing. This type of decking is also non slip, anti-fungal and will withstand our harsh winters without cracking or fading, all of which works for me!    I found a colour and finish to match the interior white washed wood flooring, we then selected bi folding doors to open up the space further.  For extra privacy I installed extra height contemporary wood slat fencing, and finally to completed the look I added decking lights and uplight the jasmines, plus the little pathway means even you can keep your feet dry if the grass is damp.
