TIPS TO SPRUCE UP YOUR PROPERTY’S GARDEN THIS SUMMER
The clouds are finally starting to be punctured by sunshine and the UK is beginning to feel a bit more like the summer season we have come to expect. The distinctive waft of BBQ’s and alfresco dining will be emitted into the air, accompanied by the cheerful rhythm of families enjoying games, signalling to the notion that the garden has turned into the place to be.

- TEND TO THE LAWN
The lawn plays a key role in a lot of UK gardens, often appearing as the centre piece. If it’s left unattended, an unhealthy and unwanted tinge will creep into the grass. Knowing the right time to mow and at the right length will keep your lawn looking pristine. If you wanted to pull out all the stops, you could use a fertilizer a couple of times a year to ensure it is kept at its luscious best. Some homeowners even use artificial lawn to minimise maintenance.
- A LICK OF PAINT
Your tired, old shed or fence that has been left neglected for a number of years can be transformed back into life with a lick of paint. A subtle gloss can make all the difference, or if you’re feeling adventurous, a brighter colour can install an increase of character for your garden.

Erecting a screen to hide away the bins or the compost heap can help to tidy up the garden and keep prying guests eyes away from the less attractive parts of your grounds. Using a creative reign, the screen could always become a decorative addition to the garden.

Similar to inside, having a clutter filled space will always make the place look disorderly and jumbled. Utilising storage spaces to tidy away those unneeded items will maintain a safe area for the children to play and make the area visually tidier.
