‘Rumble with the Agents’ raises £18k for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice
On Thursday 25th May 2017 ‘Rumble with the Agents’, an annual white collar charity boxing event in association with Landlord Action and sponsored by Hamilton Fraser, raised £18,000 for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
The sell-out event, which took place at The Holiday Inn Finchley Central, brought together a room filled with property professionals, including estate/letting agents, developers and industry suppliers, for a night of action-packed white collar boxing.
With little or no previous boxing background, the ten participants embarked on a strict training regime of structured, supervised coaching, to prepare for the night. As well as the six fights, guests enjoyed a sit down three-course meal followed by a raffle and charity auction, hosted by special guest and Tottenham Hotspur legend, Gary Mabutt. The signed sporting memorabilia was all highly sought after, including a signed Arsenal shirt from 1971, a signed Anthony Joshua boxing glove and an original ticket from the 1966 World Cup signed by Sir Geoff Hurst.
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is a north London community based hospice providing support for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families. Sarah Cadogan, Corporate Partnerships Manager for the charity and who attended the event commented:

A massive thank you to the organisers Paul and Rita Shamplina, those who came along for the evening, the donors and all the boxers who trained for months, who have made every precious moment count and have raised an amazing £18,000 for the babies, children, young people and families supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.”
