Average UK rents rose by 1.8% compared to same month a year previous according to Homelet

The latest Homelet Rental Index Report – June 2018 reveals that average rents across the UK rose by 1.8% in June 2018 when compared to the same month a year previously.
The average UK monthly rent now stands at £924 for June 2018, when London is excluded, the average UK rental value was £767 in June 2018, according to Homelet.
The Homelet Rental Index Report states: Rents in London increased by 4.7% in June 2018 than in the same month of 2017; the average rent in the capital now stands at £1596 a month.
