Biggest to date – UK’s first PropTech dedicated pitching event comes to London Build Expo 2018

TeqDen, the highly successful PropTech pitching event is taking place at London Build show on Tuesday at London Olympia. The TeqDen, powered by LiFE Ventures, has grown from strength to strength as it continues to merge start-ups with investors; this time 6 companies from both the PropTech and ConTech industries will be pitching to a live audience.

After many successful events at Campus London, a Google space, TeqDen will be based at the London Build Expo as part of the Product Innovation summit this year – bringing the UK’s first PropTech dedicated pitching event to the doors of London Olympia.

It’s so important to showcase what’s new and exciting in the PropTech world and to do it in London, in front of industry experts is really a great opportunity,” said Jonathan Werth, Founder & CEO of LiFE Ventures, a PropTech investment arm of the London based estate agency LiFE Residential.

For the first time, TeqDen welcomes 6 companies to pitch, each showcasing a range of ideas from both the #PropTech and #ConTech industry. The event will cover a variation of start-ups from new-build selling solutions to on demand waste collection apps.

Chimni, Yourkeys and RenKap hail from the PropTech world, boasting online solutions, which look at smart ways to sell new-builds, manage homes and help the current housing crisis. The rest provide more ConTech based solutions, such as District Tech, who look at providing SaaS for buildings, Skrap – an on demand waste removal app and Structor.io, streamlining admin processes on-site.

Speaking on the PropTech and ConTech scene, Jon Werth added: “Global innovation in these spaces has benefitted so much from the advances in technology and we are in the prime era for improvements of efficiencies in the sector. We need these companies to innovate and all of us in the property sector must do whatever it takes to encourage its advancement.

London Build Expo is a two-day event, which welcomes over 20,000 attendees from the industry and allows various companies to network and speak about roles in the sector.
