Nick Candy acquires the fallen Blippar

Vaired news outlets have reported on the recent purchase of Blippar by Nick Candy’s investment firm. The brand which went in to administration in December 2018 (“This is an incredibly sad, disappointing, and unfortunate outcome.”) was founded back in 2011 and had $130 million + spent on it.
Latest Tweet on the @Blippar timeline shared the headline: “Blippar to continue as a new augmented reality company after selling IP assets to investment fund“.
Current chief executive Ambarish Mitra is said to be remaining the head of the brand.
The brand was once valued at £1.2 billion.
