William Pears Group enters the Social Housing Market
William Pears Group, that is said to be one of Britain’s largest property companies holding a portfolio of £6 billion of property in London and south-east England, is now looking at Social Housing following the registration of one of its companies entitled ‘Social Landlord‘. The property giant run by three billionaire brothers (Sir Trevor Pears, David Pears and Mark Pears) will follow the likes of Blackstone, Legal & General and CBRE Global Investors in their interest of social housing and investments within this sector. The Pear Family also have an interest in Telereal Trillium a larger privately owned property company in the UK.
The current situation of housing across the UK we all know isn’t look great and calls for more social housing is a frequent theme – The market is huge should the right builds take place and management systems are used.
