A RECORD YEAR FOR CENTURY 21 UK

Estate agency and lettings franchise Century 21 UK, is celebrating a record year as 16 new offices opened throughout the UK in the past 12-months – cementing its status of being one of the fastest growing estate agency franchises in the UK.

As well as growing the network by gaining new franchisees, Century 21 UK has also reported that in 2018, 83% of its offices increased business levels compared to the previous year.

This success can be attributed to the fact that Century 21 UK is part of the world’s largest estate agency brand, which has 8,800 offices across 81 countries and attracts overseas buyers and tenants as well as local clients. The UK estate agency franchise is owned by multi-award-winning property services company SDL Group.

As a result of being part of a property services company, Century 21 UK offices are able to offer clients a variety of services such as; sales, lettings, estate and block management, surveying, auctions and mortgages all under one roof, providing many income streams.

Franchisees can also benefit from the centralised Century 21 UK team, which consists of a wide array of skills including marketing, IT and compliance, and they work hard to support their nationwide franchised estate agents through every step of their journey.

Support includes initial set-up, recruitment aid, marketing collateral and the launch of their business. Franchisees also have continuous access to in-the-field mentorship and training which ensures that each business flourishes and triumphs.

Chris Summers, head of franchising for SDL Group comments:

“This year has been testament to Century 21 UK’s outstanding growth, with a staggering 16 offices opening across the country in the last 12 months. We warmly welcome all of our new franchisees to the Century 21 UK family.

“In addition to new franchisees joining us, two of our offices were resold to two of our existing franchisees who wanted to expand in 2018. One of the many benefits of being part of a franchise network.

“2019 is expected to be just as busy, if not busier with a further 10 offices expected to open within the first quarter alone.

“Many of our offices are based in London, however, 2018 saw the start of many offices opening outside of the city and the surrounding area. Offices have opened in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, with a handful opening in the North and Midlands, such as Salford, Doncaster, Derby and Leicester.

“We hope this inspires other franchisees, especially in the Midlands and the North to follow suit.”
