Automated Feeds Service enables Letting Agents & Landlords to reach millions of Students

As part of an ongoing and major upgrade, Accommodation for Students (AFS), the UK No.1 student accommodation search engine, has launched a new automated feeds service for letting agents and landlords with large property portfolios, enabling them to instantly connect with the largest available pool of potential student tenants in the UK.
Until now, letting agents and landlords using the AFS portal to advertise their student properties were required to upload properties manually and login to deactivate them when they were no longer available, due to the absence of an automated property feed.

This is not only a major step forward for AFS, but also for letting agents and landlords looking to specifically target student tenants. The new feed will enable them to upload multiple properties in any format in real time.

Simon Thompson, Director of Accommodation for Students, comments: “We have been working on launching this service for a very long time, but previous attempts had to be taken offline because they were not functioning correctly.  We now have it working seamlessly with excellent results. It’s also really good news for the 3 million students that visit the AFS portal every year because they know that the property they are looking at is the most up to date inventory of available properties.”

The AFS feeds service is city based, with agents and landlords able to operate a city specific account. Once operational, they can connect with potential student tenants browsing the AFS portal for an introductory offer of £99 per month.
