Sandra Bullock’s Amazing Avocado Compound & Elvis Presley’s Honeymoon Home of Tomorrow

America’s sweetheart, Sandra Bullock, has channeled much of her A-list wealth into real estate ventures. She recently listed her 91-acre compound in San Diego for $6 million. And a Palm Springs home made famous as both the Look magazine “House of Tomorrow” in 1962 and Elvis Presley’s honeymoon house in 1967 is for sale at $5.65 million. Both homes are featured this week at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

Elvis Presley’s Honeymoon House of Tomorrow

In the 1960s, Elvis Presley was one of the world’s most popular entertainers and could afford any honeymoon spot in the world. And Look was one of America’s most popular magazines with millions of readers every issue. In 1962, a new home in Palm Springs was featured by the magazine as the “House of Tomorrow.” Unlike the boxy-shaped homes of the era, its curvilinear floor plan and futuristic features made the home stand out from its competitors. In 1967, Elvis leased the House of Tomorrow for his wedding and honeymoon hideaway. Elvis and Priscilla’s honeymoon house is now for sale at $5.65 million.
