Waterfords celebrates 20 years as a leading local estate agent.

On Tuesday 1st September, Waterfords turned 20. To celebrate this special occasion, the Waterfords team spent the week in Camberley town centre running competitions, raising over £400 for local homeless charity, Step by Step, and catching up with happy home owners.

From Monday 31st August to Sunday 6th September, the Waterfords team set up home in The Mall in Camberley town centre to celebrate 20 years of local estate agency. The company’s branded Mini was packed with birthday balloons and passers-by could enter the Waterfords competition to win four pantomime tickets to see Aladdin at Camberley Theatre, as well as dinner on Waterfords worth £75.  The lucky winners were Samantha and Abbi Reeves from Bracknell.

To play the Waterfords competition, entrants were asked to make a donation to local homeless charity Step by Step.  The team then boosted fundraising by bag packing at Sainsburys which, combined with 350 entries into their competition, raised £426.40 for the charity.

Whilst giving out cupcakes and goody bags, Managing Director of Waterfords, Brendan Cox, reflected on the past two decades of Waterfords. “When myself and Gary Brook started Waterfords in 1995, we had a vision to build an estate agency which gave people the personal attention and outstanding customer care they expected when making one of their greatest purchases. Having both worked in the industry, we were very aware of the reputation that estate agents had, and we were determined to change that. Twenty years on, with five establishes branches and a sixth on its way, we are proud to call ourselves “award winning” and to say that over 74% of the business we procure on sales and lettings comes from customer recommendation or from former clients of Waterfords.”

During their week in Camberley, the team had the pleasure of catching up with some past and present customers. One happy customer, Ms Welch, who sold and bought through Waterfords Camberley, came over to express how friendly and helpful Waterfords had been as a company and how happy she was with the service she received.
