One thing is now certain and that is Britain will have a female Prime Minister again occupying No.10 Downing Street, the last and only one previoulsy to do so was Margaret Thatcher, she became leader of the conservative party in opposition in 1975, going on to become Prime Minister by winning the General election in 1979
