A Woman Prime Minister is now certain.

One thing is now certain and that is  Britain  will have a female Prime Minister again occupying No.10 Downing Street, the last and only one previoulsy to do so was Margaret Thatcher, she became leader of the conservative party in opposition in 1975, going on to become Prime Minister by winning the General election in 1979

The Chairman of the 1922  committee announced late yesterday the result of the final vote of conservative Members of Parliament, Theresa May  was well out in front with 199 votes,  Andrea Leadsom second on 84 and Michael Gove trailing in third with 46 votes and eliminated.

Conservative party members will now face a choice between two women  as their next leader and prime minister,  a postal ballot by Conservative Party members will now take place  due to end on September 9 to decide who will be the new British prime Minister of the UK.
