ARLA appoints new President
The Association of Residential Lettings Agents has appointed Peter Savage as President for the coming year, the outgoing ARLA president is Valerie Bannister, who is the national property director at Your Move, Savage said that he was overjoyed to take on the role of President.
Peter is a long standing member of ARLA, having held a number of voluntary roles within the association, has more than 30 years’ experience of the UK and overseas letting market, he is currently the chairman of Simplify Estate Management and works as a consultant for Essex-based lettings and property management company Prime Property Management.
Peter said “I am dedicated to the further growth and development of the ARLA message to consumers and its influence upon regulators and legislators.
“A main goal of mine is to continue to enhance the benefits offered to ARLA members and to encourage young people to view the industry as an exciting and rewarding career option.”
David Cox, managing director, ARLA, reportedly says, “We are excited to have Peter on board as ARLA’s newly elected president.
