Catesby Estate unveils plan for new development in Boxford, Suffolk

Boxford in Suffolk, just 15 miles north of Colchester, has unveiled plans for an 80 new home development during a public meeting. Catesby Estates are leading the project for the new estate ‘Weavers Green’ that will be placed just off the A1071 on a farmer’s field (one very happy farmer one assumes)!

An outline planning application will be put forward following feedback from local residents on the 2,3,4 & 5 bedroom homes on the 14 acre site which includes 35% affordable homes.

There are already objections to include from Bryn Hurren, councillor for Boxford, who told the local press that the project would bring nothing to the village except more confusion and traffic.

Full story can be read on the Suffolk Press website.
