Dubai Property Show in London

The Dubai Property Show takes place in London between 13th and 15th May at Olympia West.

Brits are reportedly now the second largest group of investors in Dubai’s property, with UK investment almost doubling in three years. Appartments account for 77% of purchases according to Sultan Al Suwaidi, Partner at Sumansa Exhibitions, which is organising the Dubai Property Show, returns for both small and large apartments in Dubai are delivering between 7 to 10 per cent yield.

Tourism authorities have updated Dubai holiday home regulations to become more competitive and easier for owners to obtain a licence. The move is part of Dubai’s objective to further diversify and increase its hospitality offering in line with its Tourism Vision to attract 20 million visitors per year to the emirate by 2020.

Dubai has zero taxation on rental income and capital gains, this is one of the biggest attractions for British and foreign investors, lower interest rates and lucrative rental yields on investments are also driving factors for investment in Dubai’s real estate.
